Summary: Buffy reflecting on that Spring Break just doesn’t happen for her.
Ah, Spring Break. Slayers don’t get Spring Breaks. Usually, Buffy was lucky if someone wasn’t trying to end the world around Spring Break. She usually wasn’t that lucky. She had spent her last Spring Break prepping for The Mayor and his Ascension, and this year she was preparing for Adam to rally up all of his demon friends and try to overrun the world. She was pretty sure that his plan was to use up all of the human and demon parts to put together more hybrids like him, but what did it matter? He was going in and doing bad stuff, which meant that it was work time for Buffy. She was semi-relieved that she didn’t have to worry about anything like homework for a little while, but damn if she wouldn’t like a real vacation for a change.
Guess she’ll have to wait until summer. Hopefully nothing tried to destroy the world then, or she’d really destroy them. Even Slayers need holidays.
